The rules of the road for shopping with Shellicious. Plain language, no nasty surprises.
These terms apply whenever you browse this website, place an order with us via WhatsApp or email, or otherwise interact with Shellicious. By doing any of those things, you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use the site or place an order.
Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies any rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law (ACL) — your statutory rights as a consumer always apply.

Our website displays our products and prices, but it does not have an automatic checkout. To order, you tap Order via WhatsApp (or Email) on a product page and we receive your request. A binding contract is formed only when:
We reserve the right to decline an order — for example if a piece is out of stock, if there's an obvious pricing error, or if we suspect fraudulent activity. If we decline after you've paid, we'll refund you in full within 7 business days.
Many of our pieces can be personalised with a name, initials or other custom details. By submitting personalisation text you confirm that you have the right to use it (e.g. that it's your own name, or that you have permission). We reserve the right to refuse offensive, defamatory, or copyright-infringing personalisation requests.
Because personalised items are made specifically for you, they cannot be returned for change of mind. See section 8.
Every Shellicious piece is handmade to order. Standard production time is 3–5 business days from payment, unless we tell you otherwise. We'll let you know if there are any delays.
Shipping times are estimates from the courier and are not guaranteed. International orders may attract customs duties or import taxes at the destination country, which are the customer's responsibility.
Risk and ownership of the goods pass to you when they are handed to the courier. Please check your shipping address carefully — we cannot be responsible for items shipped to an incorrect address you provided.
Because every piece is handmade to order — and often personalised — we do not accept change-of-mind returns.
Your rights under the Australian Consumer Law are not affected. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure, and to compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.
If your order arrives damaged, defective, or significantly different from what was described, please contact us within 7 days of receiving it, with photos. We'll arrange a replacement or refund — your choice.
You may cancel an order for a full refund before we begin making your piece. Once production has started, cancellation may not be possible because materials have been cut or shells set. Just message us as soon as possible.
All content on this website — including the Shellicious name, logo, photographs, illustrations, design and written copy — is the property of Shellicious or used with permission. You may not copy, reproduce or use it for commercial purposes without our written consent.
You're welcome to share photos of your purchased Shellicious pieces on social media — in fact, please tag @shellicious.au, we love seeing it. By tagging us you give us permission to repost your photo on our channels with credit.
You agree not to use the website in any way that is unlawful, that interferes with its operation, or that attempts to gain unauthorised access to it. We may suspend or restrict access if you breach these terms.
The site contains links to external platforms (WhatsApp, Instagram, TikTok, payment providers). We are not responsible for the content, terms, or privacy practices of those third parties.
Subject to the Australian Consumer Law and any other rights you have that cannot be excluded:

We may update these terms from time to time. The version that applies to your order is the one in force on the day we confirm it. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the latest version.
These terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia. Any dispute will be subject to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of New South Wales.
